Waycom offers space for you to store
your image files to use with eBay™

You may upload to a special ftp site that has been created specifically for making your image files available on the internet for use with your listings on eBay and other such services. Once the files are uploaded to this site they are available via one the web-sites here at Waycom™.

Please note, you will need to use an ftp program for uploading your files. You may use the ftp program that is built into Windows 9x, or use one of the many ftp programs that are available such as wsftp, cuteftp or something similar. You may also use your browser directly as an FTP client.

Please do not call Waycom for questions about the software that you choose to run. If you do not understand the software please contact the people that are responsible for providing support for the program.

Whatever program that you decide to use, you should point it to home.waycom.com ( from the msdos prompt type "ftp image.waycom.com" ). The username that you will use is "anonymous" the password that you will use is your email address (ie: username@waycom.com).

Once connected you will not be able to view the files that are on the site, nor may you download files that are on the site via ftp. You will only be able to upload using the "put" command. Please name files begining with your initials (ie: for a user named John Doe, and an image of your coffeemaker that you are going to sell using eBay™, name the file something like jdcoffemaker.jpg). Use only jpg or gif files as other files types are either not supported by web-browsers or are too large and will load very slowly. Files exceeding 200k in size will be deleted!!

You may view your files by using a web-browser and pointing it to http://image.waycom.com/ebay/yourfilename.jpg. In the case of the filename in the previous paragraph the URL for the photo would be "http://image.waycom.com/ebay/jdcoffeemaker.jpg". Please note that this is not a gauranteed service and is available only to dialup users of Waycom. Please also note that files will be deleted after 30 days.

Images are to contain only products that are to be sold on eBay™ (or other such sites) and are not to be of a comercial nature. This means that you may not place company logo images or any image that is copywrited by anyone other than yourself. If an image or logo can be found on a comercial web-site please use the URLs to those images.
