Payment Policy
Wayland Communications payment policy is as follows.
Dialup and connectivity payments are pre-paid services.
Hardware and software purchases are due on delivery unless
specific other arrangements are made. Payment for services
such as network repair, computer repair or consulting are
due within 30 days of completion. Dialup services payments
that are over 5 days late are subject to the account being
disabled as well as a $5.00 reconnection fee.
Wayland Communications in no way assumes responsibility for
customers inability to connect due to computer or phone line
problems. Refunds are given only in the event that
Wayland Communications is unable to provide the services that
were payed for. Refunds are not avaivlable due to choices made
by the customer that may affect your service such as a change
of telephone service or hardware or software changes made to
the customers computer by anyone other than Wayland Communications
personel.
Payment for all equipment repairs and setup that is done
at the offices of Wayland Communications is due at the time
of pick up. All equipment must be picked up within 30 days
of notice of completion to avoid additional charges. Items
left for more than 60 days without pickup become the property
of Wayland Communications and are subject to additional charges
or sale for collection of funds at our discretion.
Custom software is billed in stages with the first payment to
be paid upon delivery of the first Beta edition of the custom
software. Payment for additional changes to the software that
require design change or restructuring (such as adding an
additional feature)will be due upon completion and demonstration
of the the changes.
